Learning Trough The James Webb Telescope

High-Level Project Summary

Our solution allows people aged 6-10 or even older, to learn about space in a simpler and fun way. Specifically the James Webb Space Telescope and the images it can capture. For this, we designed a virtual reality game, in which the player will be able to see what NASA's incredible telescope (JWST) is capable of appreciating. This type of game will allow young people to be interested in learning a little more about space, because let's be honest, everything that involves this will most likely be our future and what better way to teach the new generations than with what they like the most, the technology. In addition we made a tutorial that shows people how to make their own VR glasses.

Detailed Project Description

With this app, we will let people learn in a fun, different, and effective way what the James Webb Telescope can observe to make possible this, we used an app called '' Theasys'' .

In addition, we created a tutorial that teaches the audience how to elaborate and make their own VR

glasses, so everyone can learn. Our project will not only bring benefits such as teaching new generations about the JWST and its capabilities, but it will also develop the creativity of those users who put into practice our tutorial on how to make their own reality glasses.

Hackathon Journey

It was a quite interesting journey. We learned to work under pressure and as a team. Our biggest inspiration was wanting to help people to learn in a fun way and make everyone have access to learn.

We thank our teachers for all their support and care.
