Track the space station in 3D
High-Level Project Summary
I have developed an interactive application to track International Space Station. Right from my childhood I have dreamt of working with NASA as a Scientist. I am so excited to participate in this NASA's International Space App Challenge. Being a mechanical engineering student its not easy to develop a high level application that track ISS. Still I Have tried my level best to create an application that tracks ISS. In this challenge I have used Java script and Python for creating 3D Globe and the animation. For maintaining users and traffic for web application i have used Google cloud tools like cloud run and firebase.

Detailed Project Description
My application tracks the International Space Station accurately with precise location on globe. I have written code in VS Code using the libraries - Turtle( to create graphics ), geocoder, urllib, time and webbrowser. In this project I have used Nasa's ISS CO-ORDS API from Nasa Open Data Set. It works on minimum CPU requirements and can be accessed by anyone with just one click. I have created a website using weebly and have registered a domain named www.cosmostracker.design from GoDaddy website hosting provided by NASA space apps challenge, to provide all the necessary information and additional link to the application.

I have used Nasa's ISS API Which is linked to the code so when the code executes it automatically extracts the latitude and longitude and allow ISS to change its position.
Hackathon Journey
Initially I was very excited and at the same time I am also nervous because, right from the childhood I dreamt of being an astronaut but god has some other plans for me so I couldn't become an astronaut , instead I took an admission in an engineering college. There I Learnt skills in latest technologies like cloud computing, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, App Development and Website Development. Still my interest towards space and cosmos have not at all changed. I always wanted to explore the cosmos with innovation and technology, this is my motto which I used as the tag line ( AstroVerts- Explore and Enjoy).Thanks to NASA for organizing a Hackathon and to let us create apps using our skills to serve the need of tech and world with our creative minds.
