Breaking space team

simply star

High-Level Project Summary

We developed website that help people understand staller variability in simple terms that people of all ages can understand, because the changes that occur to stars may not be obvious as they occur over long period of time, the website aims to show the differences that occurred to stars. Our website is distinguished by its ease of access, as anyone can access it through any browser, we have interactive questions that help visitor to stay focused, we created fun game in which visitor select star that matches his personality then share it. We've included videos, graphs, and illustrations, and we've included colorize filter that visitors can see differences aren't visible in the row image

Detailed Project Description

What exactly does it do? How does it work?

We demonstrated the changing of stars with an educational tool that shows the types and classifications of stars and their change throughout their lives. And we explained the stellar contrast in a simple way, which shows one of the reasons for the change of stars in the sky.

Videos are available showing the brightness of the star ksn2011d during the explosion

To find out the differences between stars, we have made a comparison between Procyon b and a star

 Sirius b

For some fun, we put information about famous stars so that the visitor chooses his favorite star and records his name and the chosen star.

For the students to remain in the greatest concentration, we put them apart for the discussion, and we will ask them questions to answer them.

What tools, coding languages, hardware, or software did you use to develop your project?

We used front-end programming to create the web, and the programmer used languages

HTML, CSS, javascript, bootstrap, and visual studio code site/ in design canva

what benefits does it have?

It facilitates the process of searching for information for all ages because the information is simple

It will leave the student and the young age

He is interested to know more about space and that it is not far away as they were imagined in their childhood and that it is easy to know about the stars and that they are not just dots in the night sky

It will bring fun to the students at the same time, it will keep benefiting from valuable and important information.

What do you hope to achieve?

The web site will let us know how to keep the students focused and their brain thinking about the information using interactive questions while displaying the data We hope that the site will make it easy for students and all ages to understand the star contrast and bring space closer to everyone

Space Agency Data

https://imagine.gsfc.nasa.gov/science/objects/cataclysmic_variables.html

We learned about Cataclysmic variables through this article and from there we started looking for stars of this type

We used NASA resources to get an idea of the graph showing the brightness of the star KSN 2011d and a video demonstration of its brightness during the

Hackathon Journey

the hackathon was hard, and the time was short. we made a lot of mistakes, and we build the project again from the beginning by mentors helping but it was very good experience, and we are learning a lot and we prove our skills, and it was a good time full of excited and happy and competition and stress, nervous but overall, it was very good experience
