Detailed Project Description

It is an interactive game that is informative and provides a solution to spread knowledge about stellar variability.

Using the keyboard keys (arrows), to control the character, and reach portals, on the way to reaching information points where there is data about stellar variability, the level of information increases after crossing each portal.

It is more enriching and fun than traditional methods of teaching.

We hope to achieve that the knowledge and information collected by space organizations are fully utilized to educate students.

Unity Game Engine, C#(C-Sharp), Quizizz, NASA information resources, Laptop (Mouse, Keyboard, CPU, Graphics Driver, Graphics Card, LCD Display, Windows (Operating System))

Space Agency Data

We used NASA space data in our project

We added information (the data) at each level of the game

The data inspired the project, as the data was very accessible, it was based on real-life missions that have taken place by NASA (like the Kepler Telescope data).

Hackathon Journey

It was an awesome experience at Nasa Space Apps Challenge! We worked in teams and collaborated to brainstorm several ideas to solve problems in the real world. We also learned from our mistakes. Moreover, NASA Space Apps promoted innovation. We learned how to meet the specifications and objectives of a challenge while keeping in mind the deadline, and making it an interactive experience. We were inspired as a team to choose this challenge as we are all interested in Astrophysics.
