High-Level Project Summary
We have developed a project, which is a website that shows the variability of the stars during the night. In it we explain why the stars move, and how much they can move in front of pictures.Our site is important because it shows people why many times when you are looking at the stars it seems as if they are blinking. Around all this there is a story that explains this behavior and that is what we favor to you.

Detailed Project Description
Our project brings a broader idea about the variability of stars. Before understanding this fact, it is necessary for you to understand a little about what it is and what makes up these glowing spheres that prevail in our sky, which is exactly what we show on our website.
Throughout the site you will find what a star is, why stars twinkle, what variability is and why it happens to them, in addition to telling a little about some stars.
Our website is a dynamic project, it can benefit people as an additional form of knowledge about something that we don't study on a daily basis but can be a curiosity for many.
With this site we aim to influence people to have a knowledge beyond the basics and explore more their information capacity.
In Nebula: The Story of the Stars, we explain what stars are; their variability, how it was discovered, and why it occurs. We also gave examples of some of the main and/or most famous stars, including a scheme that we called "information line" that contains scientific data and curiosities about them.
To access it, you must enter the link https://nebula-thestoryofthestars.carrd.co/ which will open directly on the main screen, where you can find the content that we will actually explain.
Throughout the site you will find:
- what a star is;
- why stars blink;
- what is variability and the star with the most observed variability;
- some stars we choose to talk about.
To carry out our project we used the app Canva (first image) and the Carrd website (second image), which provided us with a wide range of tools to carry out the work.

Hackathon Journey
Our Hackathon Journey at Space Apps was full of new challenges, experiences, learning, and research. We learned about the variability of stars, the fact that they change places over the years, why they seem to blink for us here on earth, and also got to know new stars and their stories.
We chose this challenge because everyone in the group is interested in stars and likes to learn new things about them.
We created a website to cover this content in a dynamic and simple way.
We divided our team into the parts that each one was most interested in. Some did research, others developed the website, edited the video, made the script, etc. When someone found something difficult, the others helped to solve it.
We would like to thank the Colégio Técnico de Campinas (COTUCA), since they promoted the project here in our city and it was through them that we learned about the project.
