High-Level Project Summary
Our proposed solution is to develop an AI interface to let users input a short essay to describe a scene or image in their imagination, this essay will be processed by a natural language processing AI algorithm to infer the characteristics and semantics of the description given by the user. The characteristics and keywords generated by this algorithm will then be used to search for the most matching image in NASA’s imagery data through the provided API’s. Finally, this data will be displayed along with a short informative description of the scene containing information such as, location, date, and an interesting fact about the picture.
