High-Level Project Summary
One of the biggest causes of problems such as climate change and global warming in our environment is the greenhouse effect. In our project, we’ll explain how to get the electrical energy we need in daily life through plants. At the same time, we will prevent the emission of greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere by generating electricity from plants. Our aim is to inform people about how biological ability is transformed into technological benefit and to save our environment from the greenhouse effect. The technology will be able to reach homes that is in remote areas and need electricity.

We used NASA’s climate datas and a graph that shows the carbon dioxide rate of global warming for the last 20 years while we were searching for global warming on the world and the greenhouse gas effect resulting from it. Renewable energy sources for producing energy without harming nature and its information; we used NASA’ sources, too. We developed a technique for producing electricity from plants with NASA’s datas. Also, we used NASA’s energy producing sources for molecules’ dissociation and electricity producing.
Hackathon Journey
In our Hackathon journey, we learned about teamwork and researching together. We also learned about efficient research and techniques while competing with time. It was hard but we had a lot of fun as a team. We learned to use different tech programs and skills that include modeling, editing, speaking, writing etc. We had problems with time especially while working and gathering up online but we solved them and we were able to overcome this hard two days. We are really happy to be able to join such competition. This experience was enjoyable and educational.
