High-Level Project Summary
This work is a three-minute film. Description Keelung, Taiwan has always been a rainy city, but there is a drought in July-August 2022! Based on satellite information and open source data from the Taiwan government, this film confirms that the drought in Keelung, Taiwan is related to climate change. The issue of climate change is no longer limited to academic discussions, but has seriously affected our daily lives and even subverted our cognition.

Hackathon Journey
In this event, I led a few students to form a team during the programming goodwill course sponsored by the Taiwan Ministry of Education during the summer vacation this year.
The biggest encouragement to me this time is that although my students usually have classes to attend, they all participate in the entire competition for the sake of relationships that they find interesting. Even the logo was automatically designed by them, the materials for the plot were also collected, and they also participated in discussions and rehearsals during the entire editing process.
This time we want to discuss whether it is possible to combine the local culture of Taiwan's cities with technology to promote Taiwan to the world. Coincidentally, I encountered the drought in Keelung, Taiwan this year, so I thought of taking advantage of it!
These students also felt that they could help their hometowns and remind everyone of the dangers of climate change. If they win, there will be bonuses, and even if they are global champions, they can visit NASA. They were all excited.
It seems that teaching students in the future will still have to use ways to arouse their curiosity to get twice the result with half the effort!
Special thanks to:
Dr. Jhih-Cyuan Shen, Civil Engineer of LASS group. He provides a lot of open source consultation.
