The effect of global warming on human psychology

High-Level Project Summary

This project aimed to show the effects of global warming on human psychology. We set out our data from Adana (the warmest city in Turkey). In this study, the adverse effects of climate change will be emphasized in light of the national and international literature. In this project, we aimed to find the correlation between climate change and psychology and planned to reduce the effects of global warming and increase social awareness.

Detailed Project Description

We wrote our project on "Scratch" which is ideal for children aged 7-16. We do an animation to show the effects of global warming on human psychology, supported by pictures and videos. The aim of this project is to be explained in a simple and informative way by using "Scratch".

Space Agency Data

We used the data of the ESA climate office in our project. Since Turkey is in Europe that we use the data of the ESA climate office. It inspired our project in terms of accessibility and clarity. We used data both in our demo project and in our main project.

Hackathon Journey

Being with the team made us realize new ideas by brainstorming for the same purpose at the same time. We learned how the effects of global climate change can be and how these effects will especially affect human psychology.
