High-Level Project Summary
Gokijany is a one stop Environmental tech solutions hub for wildlife conservation as well as provides corporate with a systematic framework to measure, manage and reduce emissions across its value chain. We developed a creative video content showing the climate change effect we have and how GoKijany addresses the problem.

Detailed Project Description
As GoKijany, we came to the understanding that 90% of the greenhouse gas emissions are coming from scope 3 sources which are harder to track yet the best way to get to net zero is by first being able to track our ghg footprint then we can work from there on how to manage and finally reduce the emissions.
While we were coming up with this software based solution, we realised that there is a lot of misconception when it comes to climate change especially in Africa, my continent. Yet we are the ones who are going to be greatly affected by global warming. Thus, we saw it best making a creative video that explains and shows the climate change effects to humanity,

Hackathon Journey
2 days of intense work and steep learning curves, from zero to hero in a short time. This has made my team to believe that anything is possible if and when full dedication is applied. We got inspired to choose this specific challenge because we are content creators who are techies and environmental conservationists, and this is was an amazing opportunity of combining it all as we bring awareness of climate change as we inspire others to make a difference.
