High-Level Project Summary
Climate change is effects the loss of sea ice, melting glaciers and ice sheets, sea level rise and more intense heat waves. These effects also affects humans, plants and animals a lot. Especially bees, the most important part of ecological system. 4000 years ago Assyrians were worked with beekeeping in there. Bees do not only produce honey but 1/3 of the food we eat comes to our tables thanks to them. Because bees ensure the reproduction and diversity of plants with the pollination they perform while wandering among the flowers, vegetables and fruits. If they are dissapear life is stop so we need them. For this reasons we have received the opinions of two different beekeepers in our region.

Detailed Project Description
To understand the impact of climate change on the world, we first need to understand what it means. Climate change: the effect of greenhouse gases caused by the increase of heat-trapping gases in the atmosphere is the change of average temperatures and climate on land, sea and air throughout the year on Earth. So what exactly is the impact of climate change on us? We already see effects scientists predicted, such as the loss of sea ice, melting glaciers and ice sheets, sea level rise, and more intense heat waves.
Scientists predict global temperature increases from human-made greenhouse gases will continue. Severe weather damage will also increase and intensify. Some changes (such as droughts, wildfires, and extreme rainfall) are happening faster than scientists previously assessed. In fact, according to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) — the United Nations body established to assess the science related to climate change — modern humans have never before seen the observed changes in our global climate, and some of these changes are irreversible over the next hundreds to thousands of years.
Scientists have high confidence that global temperatures will continue to rise for many decades, mainly due to greenhouse gases produced by human activities. We talked to 2 different beekeepers to investigate the effect of climate change on bees under the name of beekeeping, which is the livelihood of many people in our region. We used 2 different locations by asking them to show us how the bees are affected and to show us their hives. they said that as a general opinion, the plant flora, which is primarily affected by extreme heat and drought, affects the bees. they stated that because of this, the bee was hungry and the situation was dire.
Future Research Recommandations:
A study is needed to examine how bees respond to rapid temperature changes.
How do rapid temperature changes affect bees' pollination? Studies are needed to answer this question.
The impact of climate change on our beekeepers' bees:
While one of the beekeepers had 90 hive bees, 10 hives remained as a result of the extreme temperature increase in the last 5 years.
In another, we can say that the bees are hungry as a result of the decreasing plant flora in the region, so it is stated that 20% of the bees in the hive are starved and 30% are affected by the changing seasonal conditions. If the situation continues like this, there is a possibility that bees will disappear in the coming centuries.
Usage area of our video:
It is available over the internet in terms of access for people from all age groups who are curious about the effects of climate change. In addition, by telling students that the honey they consume for breakfast is in danger, the reason for this is climate change, it can be used in classrooms to make them aware of climate change with this video.
Space Agency Data
https://climate.nasa.gov/ we take so many informations from this website of NASA.
We can give examples like when you are look our summary you can see we take many parts from there.

used them for describe climate change aandclimat3 change effects.
Hackathon Journey
We had a lot of fun, got informed and enjoyed being a part of this process. We learned that the effects of climate change can endanger the ecosystem by having too much impact on even small living things. We realized that we should pay more attention to the structures around us, with the clay tablet monument located opposite our school, which caused us to choose this struggle albeit indirectly. We also had in mind the basic details that came to mind when climate change came first, but investigating the impact of this on our region led us to a brainstorm. we set out with the monument, and after a moment's pause, we found ourselves facing the queen bee and her hive. Afterwards, we gained information through the researches we carried out in our region. We would like to thank the two beekeepers who informed us during this process.
