High-Level Project Summary

Global warming, which is gradually increasing its impact, shows its negative consequences all over the world. By choosing this topic, we wanted to raise public awareness about climate change, which is affecting the world. We think that we have taken a big step to save our future on this path that we started by saying one person is a thousand people.We want to reach large masses with this project with the opportunities it provides.

Detailed Project Description

As a team, in our project which is about how climate change affects us,we discussed how we can reach more people than they actually do, by enlarging the target audience and respecting and loving the environment people live in. We think through social media, a medium where we think we can make our voices heard by millions of people by adapting our project to different languages by examining all NASA data sources and articles.These are also our solutions:

• Opening a stand at symposiums and congresses

• Organizing seminars

• Organizing campaigns

• Increasing recognition and effectiveness on social media

• To design games and applications that will attract people's attention.

We used NASA to get data about the world's change and graphs.(NASA CLIMATE CHANGE,NASA EARTH EXCHANGE,NASA EARTHDATA,NASA WORLDVİEW)

Hackathon Journey

Actually, it was a tiring and enjoyable process for us. We enjoyed the fact of being a team and being able to do something together. Thanks to this, our respect and love for each other increased. We became aware of how much global warming, which is also the subject of our project, affects us by collaborating, exchanging ideas and researching. We would like to thank NASA, then our IT teacher Cem YURTLAK and Antalya Local Teacher Selman CANLI for their support, for providing a good study opportunity.
