High-Level Project Summary
Drought is the most important sub-tittle of climate change. We designed a machine that can turn water vaper to moisture and moisture to water. We got inspired by a bug that has ability to do this.The Namib beetle takes the opportunity to take the wind at just the right angle, taking advantage of the ocean breeze in the first hours of the morning, which is almost the only source of moisture in the desert. The tubers on the front wings are hydrophilic and attract water vapor from the air. Water vapor accumulates and forms larger water droplets. We think that we need to spread this idea to some companies that have researches about this topic. Our purpose is to find a solution for drought.

Detailed Project Description
Drought is a prolonged dry period in the natural climate cycle that can occur anywhere in the world. It is a slow-onset disaster characterized by the lack of precipitation, resulting in a water shortage. Drought can have a serious impact on health, agriculture, economies, energy and the environment. We designed a machine that can turn water vaper to monisture and moinsture to water. And we got inspired by a bug that has the ability to do this.
Namib beetle living in the Namib desert on the Atlantic coast of southwest Africa, has water-attracting and water-repelling molecules in its hardened wings to survive in arid environments. Namib beetle takes the opportunity to take the wind at just the right angle, taking advantage of the fog that comes with the ocean breeze in the first hours of the morning, which is almost the only source of moisture in the desert. The tubers on the front wings are hydrophilic (water attracting) and attract water vapor from the air. Water vapor accumulates and forms larger water droplets.
As a result of, we are thinking of spreading this idea to companies that have researches about this topic. Our purpose is to get this Project from imaginary to reality
