The project "Levando a Vida", aims to bring the regions of the planet, which suffer from extreme drought, drinking water so that the families that reside in these regions can cultivate plants and animals for their survival. The problem in question would be solved with the desalination of seawater since although these regions do not have large rivers or water reserves, they mostly have access to coastal areas. The relevance of the project for the inhabitants of these regions is undeniable, as it would not only boost the local economy but would also give these families a better quality of life. And most importantly, all of this is sustainable and with minimal impact on local biology.
The solution proposed by the team for the problem in question is the creation of desalination plants that carry out high-heated desalination, which would largely solve the problem of plants that use reverse osmosis: The toxic salines.
To solve the energy problem, since these plants generate a very high energy expenditure, also because the conventional models demand large spaces, in addition to impacting local fauna and flora, they need adequate climatic conditions, as in the case of hydroelectric plants that need rivers with a high volume of water, wind energy that needs adequate wind conditions, also photovoltaic energy that needs large areas and adequate sunlight conditions.
Thinking about solving this energy deficiency that would be generated, we propose the use of miniaturized nuclear reactors, like the reactors used in nuclear submarines. This provides great savings in terms of energy. And we can consider the benefits of using small nuclear reactors:
Does not release greenhouse gases;
Small area requirement for plant construction;
Great availability of fuel;
Small risk in fuel transport;
A small amount of waste;
Independence from climatic factors (winds; rains)
Given this, we can also highlight the economic viability, since in these regions entire markets are unexplored, in addition to the fact that this whole process would generate jobs, and would specialize a large part of the local populations in various areas of knowledge.

The experience of facing the unknown is always a great challenge, however it provides us with a great learning experience, such as teamwork, the expansion of knowledge among many other learnings that we take from an experience like this.
An important fact was the choice of the challenge, to choose it, we sought together to analyze real problems within our own country, problems that also affect other regions of the planet, and because of this, we were able to divide the work among the members, carrying out research and digging deeper into the subject, until we reach the best solution.

We had our meetings on Discord. To record video calls we use Google Meet. We edit videos using Sony Vegas. We set up the pitch using PowerPoint, among other design tools like Photoshop that we used to create the images.
