Climate Change in Oceans with Algae

High-Level Project Summary

We wanted to solve the challange with Algae. So we decided to educate people on Algae and where they can do it, such as the dead zones. We also wrote about what Climate change is, what it does, why does it happen etc.

Detailed Project Description

Our project is meant to help the oceans and the sea life living in there by producing more oxygen and food. That's why we chose Algae. It's beneficial because "If our oceans are clean the world is a better place." we thought and decided on this. We just need to raise Algae and take legal action on illegal hunters. I know it's hard but isn't going to another planet hard as well?? But hey, we went to the Moon..So I think it's possible to do these. No matter how hard they are, and how much time it may take. As for software we used Powerpoint, Word and Google Docs.

Space Agency Data

We used NASA (National Aeronutics and Space Administration), ESA (European Space Agency) and CSA (Canadian Space Agency).

Hackathon Journey

We'd say our Space Apps experience was pretty cool but hectic and fun. I learned how to do more detailed research. And it was a nice learning experience with my friends. What inspired us to choose this challenge with the team was how I got made fun of liking Algae telling how it was an important thing for the World last year by some people in my class. So we wanted to show them how Algae worked like, and that it was very important for our oceans. Our team was very calm and collected while solving the challenges we didn't stress anything. And we also had our fun time doing the challenge! And lastly, I'd like to thank my teammates for being here when I need them, helping me get through hard stuff, our English teacher Ulaş Bayram and our Chemistry teacher Fatma Köklü for encouraging us to do this challenge and helping us.
