Making Plastic campaigns are things of past. The big brands have enough money to market against the campaign and hence succeed in that.Our project focuses on the cause of plastic production and why industry adopted it as the main source of packaging for anything and other uses.

Detailed Project Description

Plastic has been used in packages for over decades now. It is a fact that more than million tonnes of plastic is produced each year to be used and then thrown away. As we dive backward into the history, we come to know the key points why plastic became so widely accepted in the industry:

Plastic is cheap
Once it is used, it deforms and depreciates
It is easy to manufacture

These were some of key points that interested manufacturers to include plastic in their manufacturing industries as a packaging source and other types of products

Plastic has been a life threatning problem for all living organisms, fishes, himans and all others .Plastic take about 450 years to decompose and as long as it remains on earth it emits Green House Gases. Which causes global warming ahich leads to floods, droughts, waterloging and salinity.

We want to create an app, that focuses on how to to put end to plastic pollution and climate change by simply rewarding people for using less plastic or avoid it at all. And the infrastructure of the app should be based on a blockchain so this process can be done easily without interference of any other third party.

Hackathon Journey

We appreciate NASA for creating such a joyful endeavor. Wen are lucky to participate in this hackathon. As we dived into this for the first time, we learned a lot and we will always stay ahead in this race to Stop Climate Change and give NASA with one more hand to stand against the Climate changes occuring all over the world.
