High-Level Project Summary
Our solution consists of a green initiative, for people who depend on açaí for their livelihood. The green initiative solves the issue of illegal deforestation, soil impoverishment and the consequent exodus of fauna for the pollination of species. So that people guarantee a sustainable environment. This idea works through a pact signed with the citizens of the municipalities so that they inspect both companies and people regarding illegal deforestation and land appropriation.

Detailed Project Description
The challenge chosen was how weather conditions affect the state of Pará, as we saw the importance of açaí in the market and what would be the consequences of losing açaí in our region, which is capable of moving almost 3 billion and at the peak of its harvest is capable of generating about 150 thousand jobs, being responsible for about 95% of the açaí that is produced in Brazil, according to SEDAP, IBGE and G1 data.
Our solution consists of a green initiative, for people who depend on this fruit for their livelihood, especially the riverside people, as the cultivation of açaí corresponds to about 70% of their income. This green initiative resolves the issue of illegal deforestation, soil impoverishment and the consequent exodus of fauna for species pollination. For people to ensure a sustainable environment
This idea works through a pact signed with the citizens of the municipalities so that they inspect both companies and people regarding illegal deforestation and land appropriation.
Thus ensuring the regeneration of areas passively and greater control of protection areas. Companies and people will tend to be active vectors for the dissemination of good practices and supervisors, and, in turn, will be able to control negative actions regarding the environment, also verifying this via satellite from partner government organizations, practice adopted by the city of paragominas in Pará, a municipality with a green economy and reduced deforestation by 90% in just 1 year.

Hackathon Journey
The Hackathon experience was dynamic and favored the acquisition of knowledge and data so that we could develop viable solutions to a current problem with a great impact on the perpetuation of species on planet Earth. Our identification with the theme was due to the great climatic changes taking place in the world, which despite occurring silently and almost undetectable when isolated, have cumulative effects with major consequences on the environment. The approach used was an awareness video about the climate crisis and its effects on açaí production in Pará, as well as the domino effect in the state, country and globally that the disappearance of this fruit would cause.

According to the State of Pará Fruit and Derivatives Industry Union (Sindfrutas), the state keeps about 60% of the açaí it produces, 35% goes to other regions of the country (mainly the Southeast) and 5% is exported (the United States is the main international destination for the fruit).

330 families, in an area reduction that can reach 27% in the Amazon, raising concerns about the growth of factors that imply the extinction of the fruit.
