High-Level Project Summary
Our project is based on climate change, specifically on the issue of rainfall in our country, Guatemala. As we know, Guatemala is an agricultural country, and we have seasons with a lot of rain. Lately, these seasons that we have been very irregular, with very drastic climate changes and have affected our roads, public works, export products from agriculture decrease and, many times, public works deteriorate in their entirety. We know that all this is due to climate change, and that is why we decided to start from this point and try to go deeper into the reasons why these consequences are affecting us.

Detailed Project Description
We want to find out more about climate change, how it affects our country and the consequences we have had for not paying enough attention to it. Climate change is a problem that is currently affecting us, and it is necessary to give it due importance. The benefit of our project is to suggest different solutions to give importance to climate change. On the other hand, we also believe that through education we can make a great impact.
Space Agency Data
We used information from the Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM) to demonstrate how Guatemala has been endangered by landslides.
Hackathon Journey
It has been a very enriching experience. Currently, we know that climate change has affected Guatemala in many ways, from infrastructure to work in areas of agriculture. That is why we chose this topic, we know that we need to learn more about climate change and raise awareness about it. With our team, we learned how to do everything together and implement new ideas for a better solution.
