High-Level Project Summary
T-20 days to DOOM is about raising awareness about climate change. It is a video that educates on the definition of climate change, its causes as well as its effects that have been experienced around the globe. The video also includes things that can be done to prevent and combat the effects of climate change through human intervention.

Detailed Project Description
Our project mainly focuses on the definition of climate change, and suggests solutions to address the devastating effects of climate change. Climate change is one of the most threatening factors to the existence and the sustainable survival of planet earth as well as humanity. Many people around the globe live in extreme skepticism about climate change and do not realise that it is one of the things causing some of the natural disasters like cyclones eg. the dreadful Cyclone Idai which hit Zimbabwe in 2019 and ablation, just to mention a few. Our project raises awareness to the people on how they are contributing to climate change through activities like industrialisation, and how we can still make a difference in the world to stop climate change. The suggested solutions to climate change include space exploration to monitor human activities on earth as well as expanding our knowledge as to how other planets faced their doom, carbon sinks and the use of green power energy sources.
Space Agency Data
We obtained data from National Aeronautics and Space Administration(NASA). This involves wide scale satellite data pertaining to the solar system as a whole and the Earth in particular. We obtained the following from NASA:
* Distance of Earth from the Sun
* Distance of Venus from the Sun
* Average temperatures of Earth and Venus
* Satellite videos
NASA has got profound and detailed information pertaining to our planet Earth, the solar system and the universe as a whole. This information sparked curiosity in the four of us and encouraged us to find Cosmological solutions to everyday problems on Earth.
Hackathon Journey
This has been a very epic journey of discovery. We learnt a lot of new information, some exciting and some scary. We were able to develop a deeper appreciation of our planet and other planets too. In this journey, we came to an overwhelming discovery of the obvious truth that we are the custodians of our galaxy, or better still, stewards of our universe. There are many problems in the status quo, such as climate change, overpopulation, poverty and many others. The biggest challenge to humanity is to solve them all. In our journey, we triumphantly discovered that the majority of these problems can be solved through space research and exploration, such as, for example, the habitation of planet Mars to reduce overpopulation, the use of research data to gather information on how to solve the climate change catastrophe.
