Optimization of WorlWind NASA's Web application with TAILANOPLOT tools for monitoring and visualizat

High-Level Project Summary

Wildfires impact the environment causing adverse effects that need to be monitored and visualized in real time. WorlWind NASA's goal is to solve the direct and fast communication between users and organizations for the rescue of victims and injured people due to wildfires. The monitoring of catastrophic events on the planet is important to monitor them, because it allows to analyze in real time what is happening with the event, taking preventive measures for the care of humanity and the environment. The integration of free technological tools such as Angular, Node.js, Tailwind, ggplot2 will allow to generate interactive graphics in real time to visualize these phenomena.

Detailed Project Description

OBJECTIVE

Implement TAILANOPLOT tools for real-time monitoring and visualization of global forest fires.

TOOLS: Tailwind, Angular programming language, Node.js, JavaScript, ggplot2 Data Visualization Organizational Library (TAILANOPLOT)

Space Agency Data

Hackathon Journey

Teamwork, research, learning new tools, data analysis. The challenge was chosen for its global impact and to have an improvement approach to provide a solution to the information, through the integration of open source software.

Discovery of new methodologies and tools that help to perform an analysis, and data processing to convert graphic reports that facilitate the understanding of results.
