The most reflecting feature yet to come to Earth Data Analysis

High-Level Project Summary

Our project will give people a wake-up call to our current issues with data visualization that were never presented this way before. Our goal is to visualize in an interactive way to people how the Rising Sea Level (climate change) will affect the world in the future. The factors used to create these simulations: are "Sea Level", "Carbon Dioxide", "Global Temperature", and "ice sheets". The Process is: "Collecting"-from the APIs, "Processing"-filtering and structuring, "Predicting" - creating predictions based on older data with progressive predictive algorithms, and "Visualize" with a web app to show the Sea Level Rise on a 3D world with all of the factors as parameters.

Detailed Project Description

Our project will give people a wake-up call to our current issues with data visualization that were never presented this way before. Our goal is to visualize in an interactive way to people how the Rising Sea Level (climate change) will affect the world in the future. The factors used to create these simulations: are "Sea Level", "Carbon Dioxide", "Global Temperature", and "ice sheets". The Process is: "Collecting"-from the APIs, "Processing"-filtering and structuring, "Predicting" - creating predictions based on older data with progressive predictive algorithms, and "Visualize" with a web app to show the Sea Level Rise on a 3D world with all of the factors as parameters and be able to go forwards in time with a slider. Technologies used: "Python", "FastAPI", "HTML5", "CSS3", "JS", "three.js". And the data source:
