High-Level Project Summary
The proposed challenge was to improve some terrestrial software that would effectively display various data to the public. We first set out to view the rainfall within our area using available data as well as using WorldWind. However, the use of the latter became complicated, so we finally decided to build an interactive map that would show the main hydrological problems suffered by our country since the beginning of the so-called MEGA DROUGHT. The main objective of the project is the dissemination of knowledge and the generation of awareness and subsequent action regarding water care.

Detailed Project Description
Our work covers the lack of rainfall present in the country where our team comes from, Chile, through our work, people can approach and know how the drought is present in our country, because, unfortunately, we belong to a country that is not so well known, but, despite this, it is also recognized for its variety and high degree of beauty. Thanks to the map on the challenge page, people can select different locations in Chile, and read about how that area is affected by the drought. The map was created with Maphub, which is a tool that is easy to use, therefore, people will easily access our project, which will clearly put more than one to think about.
Space Agency Data
For our work we used Google Earth timelapse, which collects data from NASA, to provide how a certain region of interest has changed over the period of time between 1984 and 2020, so that we can see, in our case, the variation of water flow in various areas of the country.
Likewise, we used the NEO platform, from which we extracted how the temperature has varied globally, taking into account that temperatures are directly related to water levels, since, for example, when glaciers fall, the water level increases or flows decrease due to the lack of water.
Hackathon Journey
Well, our experience is based on a seesaw of emotions, it was an interesting and difficult challenge, but, hopefully, we will have good results. Our main obstacle was how to organize ourselves and how to obtain data, because there is not much data related to our country, but it was something we knew before choosing our challenge, and that is why we decided to choose it, because our country is quite unknown, and the drought is a real threat that is advancing more and more every day. Having the data, it was interesting for us to be the ones to analyze and help the world to see how our country is suffering.
