High-Level Project Summary
Using the most abundant resource of Venus, which is it¨´ s temperature, we created a battery (inspired by the operation of Voyager ´´s battery) that is capable of recharging and storing energy, based mainly on two physical principles: The Seebeck effect and The Peltier effect. The generator is guaranteed to utilize the full life of a rechargeable battery, and it ´ s contents are designed for lifetime of up to 200,00 continous hours. It does not require multiple batteries, nor maintenance during the mission; it is lightweight, compact, quick to manufacture and affordable. The project demostrates a balance between optimality and self-suffciency.

Detailed Project Description
In Henko raum we propose a battery with a double function which stores and generates it's own energy by implementing the Seebeck effect. Inspired by the operation of Voyager's Radioisotope thermoelectric Generator, our proposal suggest a reverse operation. This project allow us to generate energy through Peltier cells to power four rechargable batteries, thus creating a cycle that optimizes the continues generation of electrical energy. Reducing charging processes and energy use, finally optimizing spaces and materials.
Space Agency Data
Our project generates electricity from the seebeck phenomenon which, by injecting heat at one end of the circuit and cold at the other, generates high voltage using the cells of pieltri. The benefits of our work is to take advantage of the constant heat of Venus and the isolated cold in our box.
We use an arduino with a code that allows us to detect the temperature and the elapsed time to avoid errors when starting the system.
Hackathon Journey
We had the opportunity to learn about the aerospace topics that interest us the most, we were also able to learn about thermodynamics, which allowed us to develop an idea that, despite seeming complex, has the scope to achieve great changes and be a great contribution to a real aerospace mission. . Noticing that was one of the greatest lessons, we have the ability to help NASA that changes everything.
