High-Level Project Summary
V-THAW is a heavy-duty automaton that carries mechanical measuring instruments to be able to gather scientific data despite working under dire environmental factors. Automatic and mechanical sensor-based traversal mechanism with the use of titanium steel cables and high grade components. Powered and protected by our own EMBER SHELL power generation and storage system, it is composed of a honeycomb cooling sodium-sulphur battery with ceramic electrolyte and a thermoelectric Peltier module shell that envelops the whole system to protect against Venus' extreme heat while simultaneously cooling the components and scientific instruments.
