Explore Venus and Survive it's extreme atmosphere

High-Level Project Summary

I made this project on Scratch and it has a mini robot that explores Venus and has different costumes and to resist the extreme climate of Venus. I solved the challenge by creating different costumes so that it can sustain the extreme climate like on for storms and for extremely high temperatures as this is the reason as to why we are unable to launch a probe onto Venus, long enough for us to study the planet.

Detailed Project Description

My project makes the robot go on a mission to explore Venus and it has different costumes for all the different types of weather. The probe will be able to move around and I have made it like an animation. It has benefits like showing people that Venus has a very harsh atmosphere and to actually get a probe there is very difficult and the designer will need to think of many things like its costumes for all the different types of weather and what its made of. For this I used Scratch.

Space Agency Data

I used some data from the NASA space apps challenges website like the fact that it is sometimes around 460 degrees and that it has different atmospheres like storms or it could get too hot

Hackathon Journey

I learnt a bit about how to code and fix bugs while working on my project and some facts about Venus while reading the information on the Space apps website. I chose this project because i was interested as to why we could not get a probe on there even though we had on Mars.
