Mystery of Jupiter

High-Level Project Summary

New images taken by Jupiter's NASA spacecraft Juno's Junocam camera have reached Earth. The new images show clouds surrounding a circular feature. Jovian system images recorded with Junocam shed light on life on Jupiter hundreds of years later. In our imagination; The existence of a separate life in every piece separated from Jupiter, the possible urbanizations, and the journeys in the capsules make us question the existence of an astonishing life awaiting humanity, even though it seems mysterious. "Is there life on other planets besides Earth?" of the question, the images taken and the data in hand draw us into this story and we can't stop ourselves from being a part of it.

Detailed Project Description

In this project, the closed doors of the mysterious life on Jupiter open wide. The information and images obtained thanks to the space agencies arouse new questions in each of us and puzzle our minds. we wonder if there is life on another planet, or will we be able to have a new life on a completely different planet hundreds of years from now? While looking for answers to these questions, we inevitably describe and visualize this in our minds. And we are opening a page to a new world in our rich imagination. The images and information NASA recently obtained from Jupiter caused some question marks in our minds. And questions like what could happen and caused us to create this picture, and project. We also wanted the picture formed in our minds to come to life. What would happen if we had such a life?

We imagined that life continues on every piece of land that Jupiter has and that thanks to advanced high-end technology, maybe people, plants, animals, and even robots were transported here thanks to capsules. We even thought that even if we were to step into a new planet, life, humanity would urbanize this place and create a similar life. The Junocam in the picture is ready for discoveries. Because adventure and discoveries will never end...

Space Agency Data

Thanks to the images of Junocam we got from NASA, we got an idea of what Jupiter looks like. And we took advantage of this for coloring and sizing in our project. We also aimed to enrich my project by adding our own interpretations to each. The unique colors and shapes of Jupiter inspired the main theme of my painting.

Images that inspire us:

Hackathon Journey

Although we have always had an interest and curiosity about space and planets, we had not felt that we were living with the unknown and the beauties we were unaware of until we had such an opportunity. This project made us gain new knowledge, and questions in some cases and become even more curious. In particular, the extraordinary images that Junocam obtained made us want to interpret them and helped us design such a project. It was one of our biggest goals to be completely original and based on imagination, to make other people wonder about a new life that can be created, and to make them a question. Of course, we encountered many problems and deficiencies, but we completed our project thanks to search engines and the new techniques we learned. Even though our team consisted of two people, we always supported each other and did a good job.
