High-Level Project Summary

We have created robotsa and mini tools. Basically we tried to make easier life in Mars.We used tinkercad,blender for making models. hope you already liked our presation.

Detailed Project Description

1.Pocketknife: It's simply a pocketknife. It has a ruler on it. You can change things easily. For example, you take the knife and put a screwdriver in it. It is very easy to use.



Dinocan

 The first robot we will be talking about is:’’Dinocan’’. Dinocan is responsible for the research of the land that is near our habitat. It has two modes that can be chosen by a personal. Dinocan can be controlled automatically by A.I. or a person. ocan can also be used for finding materials that can be beneficial to dig, and bring back to our habitat. Dinocan is equipped with a drill under its shell. Dinocan works with electrical power and is powered by solar panels. Dinocan has the capability to climb up stiff hills because of the spikes that are placed right inside its clamps. Dinocan is also able to get itself inside its shell just like a turtle if there are any sandstorms on the planet. We did this because of biomimicry.

Mars Bird

Our second robot's name is ‘’Mars Bird’’.Its main use is to explore Mars' habitats from the sky; it can also transform and become a ground robot. Its 12x12x12 cm and its 100 gr.

You can use Mars Bird with a controller by yourself or you could just command it to roam by itself. It works with electric energy. You just simply need to charge it when roaming ends.

There is a disadvantage about this robot. It's hard to survive in stormy weather, but you can avoid this. Whenever the Mars bird sees whether it is starting to become windy, it connects itself to the ground by using its sharp legs and waits until the storm ends .And while it connects to the ground, it doesn't waste energy.

We got the inspiration from crabs and dragonflies as main body. We used crabs' body types and for its flying part we took inspiration from dragonflies.  

Raphael

 Our third robot is:‘’Raphael’’. Raphael is responsible for the carrying of the materials that have been dug out of the planet and deliver it to our habitat. Raphael has a module that has been attached to the back of him like a backpack that has a great capacity to carry nearly anything.


Raphael is inspired by a French artist. Raphael has a hat and a great mustache. Raphael is an amazing robot that is controlled by A.I.


Captain Seadog 

Our fourth robot’s name is ‘’Captain Seadog’’. It's responsible for repairing the broken parts and guards around Raphael. Captain Seadog also loads up materials for Raphael’s backpack. Captain Seadog is controlled by A.I. Captain Seadog is inspired by a great British pirate that has lived in the past. Captain Seadog has a unique hat on top of his head.

Rover Wheels 

As researched from many sources, we came to the conclusion of choosing this kind of a wheel. It is made specifically for knowing which direction the vehicle/rover has gone.You may ask how that is possible.Well, it leaves tire marks behind that shows which way it went by arrows.


Modern Truck 

We have also made a truck for making transportation of resources faster and easier.We are also planning to carry big concrete blocks that are made just for making buildings and bridges around the planet.


Fusion

 Our next device is a tool named Fusion it's main purpose is scan, dig, laser cutter, break, holding energy, build and feel powerful it's basically do anything just change the module.


Scanning module:

It has own A.I. for scanning the result and if its something that unknown A.I. can compariton to other elements to find the most alike element.


Digging and Breaking:

Digging/Breaking its actually not a module it's a part from the tool it's can spins 90 degree.

Laser cutter module:

It's place same place with scannig module its help to cut metals easly but be careful to dont hurt yourself Holding.


Energy Module:

This module help you to hold electric energy but its not that much you can hold max 11 watt.


Building Module:

It's place it under scanning module it's connect it to scaning module it's basiclally like mini 3D painter. You first scan then make a copy of it the building material place it under tool you can easyly fill it or change the material.


Fusion is designed for your own comfort to use their different models for your gender, height and weight its pretty easy and it made out of different parts if one of the part broke main body doesnt affect.

Making of Buildings and Bridges 

We will be using the concrete blocks that we have printed from our gigantic 3d printer. We will also carry it via the truck that has been made by us.




Mini Tools Fork and Spoon:

For easier usage, we designed a simple model and you can also put mini tools under the tool.

Cybernetic Arm:

If you somehow damage your arm and can't use it ever again you may replace your arm with an implant. It is stronger than a normal humans arm and it also has some abilities that a normal human arm(limb) can not do.

Space Agency Data

We have used NASA data for our project. We used the date to be informed. It inspired us to be more curious about the outer space and other planets.

Hackathon Journey

Our experiance was amazing in general. We had so much fun modeling and talking to eachother. We learned so much about modeling and also effective researching. We chose this challange because it sounded like it could happen in the near future.

We got across every single obstacle as a team and we never gave up.I would like to thank my whole team for keeping their heads up and not giving up! Love you guys.
