High-Level Project Summary
In the project our team tackled the challenge in a few different ways. We designed furniture for the space habitat with fuctionality, ease of print, structural stability and more in mind. We designed a 3d printed replacement mars rover wheel with consideration of possible print volume and structural strength . We also decided to develop a number of aids to facilitate easy and efficient 3d printing. These aids include a print managment App, a modular Plastic tubing system which can create a variety of tools, and a modular metal rebar system for reinforcing large concrete prints and allowing for more options when using concrete.

Balsamiq Wireframes was used to create a mockup of the print managment app. SolidWorks was used for all of the 3d modeling.
Additional documentaion and explanation for our work can be found in our cloud storage link.

Hackathon Journey
We had a very intesnse Space Apps experience. We have two mechanical engineers and an industrial designer on our team so we wanted to use CAD in our challenge.
