Detailed Project Description
When the app is opened, there will be a registration site where one is required to. After registering, the first feature that the users will see is the timeline of the Parker Solar Probe. On the top of the screen in every feature, there will be a left and right button for users to switch easily in different sections. The next section will be the message section where the user will have the chance to talk with other people using the app as well. The next feature will be the game of the application. This game is entertaining while informative at the same time due to how long one will play the game, the user will obtain information in connection with the Solar Probe's journey to the Sun. Next is the settings section where one can change the preferences of the app regarding the games, the message section or language as well. Next is the Sun Update, this section will cover of the present situation of the Sun so that people will know and be alert to new updates. And lastly is the Space Weather. This is where the user can know more about the Sun and its relation with the weather. This app is made possible by Canva.
Space Agency Data
The information gathered for this app is by the information gotten through NASA since it is more credible the information obtained from there. And this is to also be more relatable to the challenge itself since it also came from NASA.
Hackathon Journey
The journey in making the app was hard but a memorable one for us since we are limited in time and that the resources we have as of the moment is very limited. We are seminarians in St. Peter's College Seminary and we are taking this challenge because we think that even if we took this kind of life, we can still contribute something for the world and Science.Even so, we are able to make an app that is related to the challenge and that we think that this will benefit many people, not only the youth, but also other people in their age as well. We did our best to make an app that is friendly for all and that everyone can use it for their benefit in their daily lives.
