High-Level Project Summary

We, from the Multi Skillsteam team, have developed a way of business for dissemination and education about the space environment through the use of augmented reality (AR). In the metaverse or in face-to-face technology events, it would be possible to demonstrate to young audiences who are generally the most enthusiastic about astronomy, the importance of studying the sun and how we carry out these analyzes today. We believe that with the use of augmented reality (AR), understanding is enhanced by the immersive experience of the tool. By innovating the means of communication and the channel in which the information is transmitted, the reception is more acceptable and unde.

Detailed Project Description

The developed application, through the pre-established targeting, generates a projection of three-dimensional models that, in view of the challenge proposed and embraced by the team, was able to represent the history of the Parker solar probe.

Being an easy and intuitive tool to use, it would be enough to point the camera of your mobile device to a target, and it is responsible for recognizing and projecting three-dimensional models.

Its benefits range from new ways of conveying and representing ideas, to generating greater engagement in educational institutions and technology corporations.

We hope to be able to reach a new market niche, generating new values and vision for companies aligned with technologies, whether spatial or not, and even in educational institutions of any age group.

We use a software called Unity as a graphics engine to generate our tool applied to augmented reality. It was not necessary to work directly with code during its development.

Space Agency Data

We got inspiration entirely from NASA's official website about the parker solar probe with the following domains:

Link 1: http://parkersolarprobe.jhuapl.edu/

Link 2: https://www.nasa.gov/content/goddard/parker-solar-probe

Data about the basis of the idea and how it came about, numbers and dates were important to understand the subject and be able to transmit it through our tool.

Hackathon Journey

We really enjoyed participating in a hackathon of this level, representing such a respected and important organization for human development. We learned a lot more about the solar issue and how we are currently situated with your data analysis, and above that, the resilience to deal with people we didn't know and generate new friendships, is essential.

We confess that we chose this challenge based on the difficulty, the other items are quite complex and our tool is more aligned with this subject and we love working on it.

We act calmly and respecting everyone's schedule, although we had complications during this participation process, we did not forget about empathy and, above all, respect for deliveries.

We would like to generally thank our family and close people who respected our time and dedication to the project. I would love to emphasize names we will never forget:

- Alan Turing (Father of modern computing);

- Alexander Oliveira (Software Engineer);

- Daniel Freitas (Environmental Impact Entrepreneur);

- Fernanda Farias (Engineering - Production planning and control);

- Lucas Sá (Development engineering assistant);

- Natália Vargas (Child Education Pedagogue);

- Thamyres Cabral (UX Design | UX Research Jr);

- Warlen Araes (Mechanical Engineer).
