Journey to the Sun

High-Level Project Summary

we did the challenge journey to the sun. we used scratch to program command blocks to present it . and it was challenging to us . the rocket wich launched to the orbit of the sun is called paker solar pro. venus has a slingshot obit of the sun.

Detailed Project Description

we used the software scratch, sprites to make the story about the parker solar probe, command blocks to code, we also used sound in scratch we also research n how the parker solar probe works and how it survived the sun we also learned more about the solar winds and about venus

Space Agency Data

In comparison to gas, where individual particles chaotically zoom about, plasma can act collectively, like a team. It both conducts electricity and is influenced by electromagnetic fields — which operate under the very same force that keeps magnets on your fridge

At the top, Padilla adjusts a set of mirrors that projects an image of the Sun into an observing room far below. Back on the ground, he uses an array of pencils, varying in graphite weight, to sketch the dark spots mottling the face of the Sun. This daily chore is the foundation of the sunspot number, our longest record of solar activity. Humans have observed sunspots — dark blotches that arise from strong magnetic activity — for more than 1,000 years, and tracked them in detail since the invention of the telescope, for the past 400. Even with the modern-day host of spacecraft studying the Sun, taking the time to draw sunspots remains the chief way they’re counted. Surveying sunspots is the most basic of ways we study how solar activity rises and falls over time, and it’s the basis of how we track the solar cycle.

Hackathon Journey

Inspiration:Unlike any other exploration to the the planets as we know sun is hottest and most tough one .These unique topic inspired us to move forward and learn more about it.

We learnt about the thermal system that protects the PROBE.

We felt it was challenging we had fun we have put up lot of effort. we got to learn new things on the challenge by NASA and we had the best teacher.
