Detailed Project Description

Our project begins with a succinct explanation of how the Parker Solar Probe will swoop to within 4 million miles of the Sun's surface while enduring heat and radiation that no spacecraft has ever been able to endure. After its Aug. 12 launch, NASA's Parker Solar Probe mission will fundamentally alter how we perceive the Sun. New information on solar activity will be made available, and it will significantly improve our capacity to predict significant space-weather phenomena that have an effect on Earthly life.

We will send Probe to touch the Sun in order to unravel the corona's mysteries and to defend a society that is becoming more and more dependent on technology against the dangers of space weather. The Probe's successful passage into the sun's atmosphere was amazing. NASA set the objective sixty years ago, and three years after the launch of its Parker Solar Probe, the spacecraft became the first to "touch the sun."

Yet barely one in ten persons in a local study were aware of the investigation. People often receive knowledge from pictures that they weren't even aware they were seeking for. According to statistics, 72% of people prefer videos to texts. And it was ideal for our challenge, which was to come up with a fresh method to educate young people about Parker's inspirational path.

What happens when there is a scarcity on one side and an excess on the other?

Our team achieved this equilibrium by creating it. We must first understand what influences young audiences in order to pique their interest in learning more about the space mission. We created an engaging film that provides the audience with all the information in a matter of minutes with the use of NASA sources and data. Our video goes through every issue the probe ran into and how it fixed them. Superheroes and the probe are directly compared in our video, which adds to its intrigue and enjoyment. We were able to display the viewers various parts of the probe using the 3 D model offered on the NASA official website.

Along with the film, we also created the Astrofy app. It is a tool that connects young innovators with NASA and allows us to use generation Z to affect gen Z. With this application, we are utilising generation Z to provide them a working platform and raise their awareness. NASA wants everybody, especially young people, to be aware of the project and the missions it is working on. And NASA did all of this in order to serve as an example for aspiring scientists, data analysts, and other professionals who may work with NASA to improve both NASA and the planet.

The app called Astrofy connects young innovators with NASA and allows us to use Gen Z to influence Gen Z. With this application, we are utilising generation Z to give them a working platform and raise their awareness. I'll stop talking about Abraham Lincoln now. We came to one realisation as a result of all these hackathons NASA supported or organised. NASA wants everybody, especially young people, to be aware of the project and the missions it is working on. And NASA did all of this in order to serve as an example for aspiring scientists, data analysts, and other professionals who might work with NASA to improve both NASA and the planet. Young people would learn about other missions in addition to the Parker Probe thanks to the software we were developing. I'll use an analogy to illustrate. If you run a business like ADIDAS, a piezoelectric shoe manufacturer. And you want the youth to learn more about it, so one of the many things you could do to achieve that is to hold competitions where young people compete to improve the effectiveness of your piezo electric plates. This will not only make them aware of it, but it will also inspire them to reach out to more people to assist them in finding a solution to the problem statement. You might be wondering, "Why can't I just hire a creative content writer?" He would demand a large sum of money, and he would also never discount the influence of the average person.

When young people or students put their minds to something, they accomplish it by any means necessary. Since young people desire to make money quickly and at a young age, their interest in the Astrofy app will grow tremendously. To locate the one ideal video and the winner, you invest a lot of time and money in these competitions. But our app will deliver a better result in a shorter amount of time and money. What distinguishes us from other applications that employ the same concept? Our app is straightforward and concentrated on a single field, so it won't divert you from the task in which you are genuinely engaged. Thus, our app primarily has five features. You would need to first create an account. You would be sent directly to your home after creating an account, where you could view your activities, projects, submissions, and ratings. The search option is the next, where we can look for any team. There, the teams are represented by their name, profile photo, and number of ratings. A play button is also present in front of each team, and pressing it will take you to the team's main website. In case you want to add more of your own work, the plus sign on the tool bar denotes addition of work.Notifications are the following available option on the tool bar. The work you have offered or the work you wish to purchase, the price the other party is asking for or the amount you are willing to pay, or whether NASA has any other labour opportunities. Since the app also focuses on making money, there is a choice of accounts where we can see how much time we put into a project and how much money we made in an hour with the aid of graphs. Along with our earnings and expenses for the month, it also displays our monthly income total.

With all of these features, we've provided a reward system in which you receive a badge for each task you complete. More badges indicate that people are more likely to trust you. Therefore, for work, the team or profile with the most badges would be chosen. With help of android studio and app.visily.ai we created a user interface. And with the aid of our video and user interface, we are able to raise awareness among young people in an efficient manner and provide them with something else to do besides scroll through Instagram.

Hackathon Journey

We had no idea the event would be so educational when we registered for it. Since this is our first hackathon, it would be accurate to state that we will return with more than just experience. This hackathon has no boundaries for learning. We learnt time management skills and critical thinking while completing a project in one night, but we also gained insight into the creative and imaginative thinking of others our own age.

Our task was to come up with a fresh approach to telling young audiences the motivational tale of Parker's record-breaking trip. We were happy to be able to work for them because our team name, "Zaviours," stands for "generation Z saviours." We appreciated the opportunity to work for them. We leveraged young people's psyche against them in our initiative. In order to draw them in and get them to watch something educational rather than scrolling reels, we conducted study on how people think. And while doing research for the project, one of our team members commented, "Parker is such a superhero, it can touch the sun without burning up." And that's how we came up with our notion. Superheroes. We incorporated superheroes into our project because their popularity is growing daily and more young people are being inspired by them. Our film is not only intriguing to watch, but also entertaining because to the spot-on comparison of the Parker space probe with the superheroes.

But our answer has numerous branches, exactly like a tree. We focused on the young generation's desire to start a trend and generate income. We developed the "ASTROFY" app, which enables us to affect Gen Z through using Gen Z. With this application, we are employing generation Z to educate and provide employment for them. NASA wants everybody, especially young people, to be aware of the project and the missions it is working on. And NASA did all of this in order to serve as an example for incoming data scientists and other professionals so they can work with NASA to improve both NASA and the planet. People post their work to the interactive user interface for the Parker Space Mission as well as other NASA-sponsored missions. Therefore, through this employment, not only would the young generation—which is, by the way, motivated by money—be able to make money but also get informed about the missions. From coming up with a unique project to being able to carry it out, we confronted numerous difficulties. But I am incredibly proud to say that we were successful in both thinking up and coming up with an innovative answer.A video in addition to this app, in the opinion of our team specifically, is the ideal response to our challenge. You may believe that the software is sufficient on its own and that there is no need for a video.

Well, sometimes, A video can make all the difference.
