Detailed Project Description
We decided it would be most appropriate to develop a website that would assist professionals and other people in locating the resources they require to obtain the training they require in order to submit an application for EO.
How does it work?
When you first visit our website, you can choose from one of three categories on the homepage. You can view the resources we have given under the first heading, Resources. We provide a variety of resource websites to make it easier for users to choose the one that is best for them. For example, you can view the resources we've given for that region if you're applying for an agriculture EO.
What advantages does it obtain?
People who are looking for resources to get the training they require will profit from using our website. For example, our website may be helpful to the many professionals and other people who are looking to apply to EO. The resources they require are available on our website.
What do we hope to accomplish?
By offering the resources people need to meet the requirements to apply for EO, we hope to assist them. Additionally, we want to make it simpler for users to access the websites they need.
What tools did we use to develop our project?
We used Press to present our website concept and describe its function for our project, and Wix to build the website itself, and a few NASA-provided websites. For example, NASA Applied Remote Sensing Training (ARSET) Program, NASA ARSET full catalog of trainings in spreadsheet format with all the relevant data, EO College Courses and European Space Agency Training and Education.
Space Agency Data
We used NASA, CSA, and ESA data.
Hackathon Journey
Our Space Apps experience was really challenging. However, it was incredibly fun and exciting. Being able to go to NASA Space Camp and seeing a rocket launching, this is what really inspired us. First, we talked and did brainstorming. Then, we started researching, and we took some notes. After that, we developed a demo project. Finally, we did changes on the demo project, learned how to make a website, and created the final project. Our team has crossed sone challenging parts. However, one thing that kept us moving forward was our reliance to each other. First of all, we need to thank our maths teacher, who brought the idea out. We would also love to thank Selman Canlı, for his amazing hospitality.
