According to NASA, many people who work with Earth observations face difficulty finding the necessary information because it is sparsed in many places. That said, we propose to create a website with easy-to-use, approachable, unifying all the information spread on the internet. Earth Satelite has a proposal to keep up to date and deliver quality content to its audience - people who work with Earth observation. With this, we intend to help decision-making to be much more assertive, as people will have the necessary content to keep up to date. The construction of this portal is relevant to facilitate the finding of this information since people will have easy access to new training constantly.
Our portal allows people to access educational content on Earth Observation in a single location on the wide world web.
It works with the use of a website (collection of web pages organized and located on a server on the network), and in it, the user can access, through filters, categorizations, and pages of each segment, quickly, the training content that is looking.
Unification of contents spread over the World Wide Web and decision-making that through learning can generate confident decisions related to the analysis of Earth Observation satellites.
What tools, coding languages, hardware, or software did you use to develop your project?
The portal will have a content feed system to ensure its constantly updated. At first, we will pull information from official NASA websites in an automated way, meaning that a more recent training set will be uploaded to the website. In a second moment, we will have a functionality where people can upload their training set on the platform.

Our first Space App Challenge was unforgettable. This experience was a unique learning opportunity that helped us achieve our goals. We appreciated the process and the chance to improve our group work skills. Thorough research was crucial to creating the project. We approached the challenge by going through a data discovery process, where we went through information from NASA Earth Observation to start building a plan for how we would approach the situation. We express our great gratitude to NASA and the hackathon organizers and mentors who helped us bring our project to fruition.

Earth Observations (EO) can help policymakers around the world make more informed decisions to address natural disasters, land management issues, the impacts of climate change, and other environmental issues. However, policymakers and community members first need to develop the capacity (knowledge and skills) to use EO in their work. Your challenge is to create a user-friendly virtual gateway of capacity-building resources that will help professionals of all levels and disciplines find the training they need to apply EO.
