High-Level Project Summary
Going to space is a pretty hard task for any living organism. It is so hard that it is impossible to go to space without external force. Even if an organism could go to space it most likely couldn't live out there. It would probably lose to one of the thousands of difficulties that space contains. But what if the organism had the durability to live there? What if it could function in space? In this little platform we are trying to create a biology superhero for space.

Detailed Project Description
As a team, we chose the "Build A Space Biology Superhero" challenge. We debated what kind of platform we wanted to create to introduce our superhero and we decided to make an interactive website. We used wix.com to create and design our website.
Our project is an interactive website where you can create a space biology superhero. In this website, you firstly learn about some of the risks of space flight. Then you can read about some experiments done that shows that these risks can potentially be lowered. Finally our team collected these traits and differences done in the experiments and gathered them up to make our Space Biology Superhero.
Space Agency Data
- NASA Human Research Roadmap: To research the risks of space flight.
- NASA Genelab Data Repository Search: To find traits for our superhero.
- wix.com: To create our website.
Hackathon Journey
The Space Apps experience has been challenging at times but excxiting and fun at the same time. This experience pushed us to work together and developed our teamwork. Our team chose the "Build Your Own Space Biology Superhero" challenge because building our own superhero sounded very exciting. When we read the description we were eager to try and build a website as none of us had done anything like that before. We knew we wanted to create a superhero based off the data provided by the experiments in NASA Genelab Data Repository. Our biggest challenge was finding the time to give our best effort to this project and develop it as best as we could. We tackled this problem by distributing the work load evenly amongst every team member and setting deadlines to ourselves and eachother.
