High-Level Project Summary
We developed a website where the user can go on an exploratory mission guided by our super hero, Super-biobac, who will tell him how his mission changes the future of humanity and helps us to become an interplanetary species. Together with him you will learn about the environmental stresses of the space travel he did, and help him understand how various organisms dealt with these stresses in the past, in order to finally become the interplanetary Superhero he is today.

Detailed Project Description
Super-biobac was created from information provided by NASA space biology group. Its synthetic genome comes mostly from Deinococcus radiodurans, since it is the organism capable of resisting radiation and surviving in conditions of heat, cold, dehydration, vacuum and acid. It also possesses some genes from other organisms that in research were able to develop defensive mechanisms to these hostile conditions. Its semi-synthetic spores, which have the structure of large bacteriophages, were
sent by NASA and Space X to Mars as the first mission. After a period of time, S-biobac achieved replication and adaptation, multiplied and colonized the red lands. But in addition, it managed to bring to humanity new information contained in its genome that is being analyzed for potential solutions to the hostile climatic conditions that are approaching on planet Earth.
The development of this bacterium on Mars is important because it will allow fertilizing the soil for future human colonies to grow food in the future, when human colonization is possible. In addition, its metabolism allows the transformation of CO2 into O2 and CH4 to create an atmosphere suitable for life.
This development will inspire, motivate and demonstrate to humanity that interplanetary life is possible. But beyond this, it brings hope for the future of humanity, evolution, and perseverance on any planet in the solar system. We will continue to evolve.
Our purpose is focused on making interplanetary life possible in the future thanks to our super hero.

Space Agency Data
We use data from these sites:
https://science.nasa.gov/biological-physical/programs/space-biology
This page helps us to understand what's space biology program is and which are their objectives. This was usefull for our website.
https://genelab-data.ndc.nasa.gov/genelab/projects
Here we obtained the papers that help us to evaluate the viability of our superhero. We look for gene sequences and enzymes that help to understand the possible metabolism on Mars.
https://humanresearchroadmap.nasa.gov/risks/
The risk of human, we did not know at all. So, we learn more to understand if the mission with astronaut were convenient. But, we focus on the microorganism interaction with human. We found some amazing organism who live in International Space Station. They gave us clues of with genes we could use for our super hero.
https://www.nasa.gov/hrp/5-hazards-of-human-spaceflight
The 5 hazards of human spaceflight were excellent review of the challenges that a super hero have to overcome to persevere in space
Other reviews or papers help us to know more about the mechanism that this microorganism use for live in space or here at earth on extreme conditions.

Hackathon Journey
One of the greatest learnings is related to living complex experiences in the development of problem solving, associated with a high technical, creative, research, communication and management level of the team of collaborators for the creation of the project in the chosen challenge. It is a pleasant experience, being in a state of constant learning within a multidisciplinary team, with issues that promote the development of a mentality of expansion and disruption to find a solution.
We learned to integrate as a team and to be resilient to changes, at a technical level a lot of challenges that were solved with moments of research and collaboration of mentors and consultations with external specialists who were part of giving a lot of support to achieve it.
The experience generated the possibility of linking with each one of the people who were part of the team to continue to support and complement each other throughout the days.
We want to thank us first as a team for having the ability to be focused on the challenge as we were aligned, the selection of the challenge allowed us to unite more to deepen on different multiple forms of solutions. We would like to thank all the team that organized this event in Mendoza and what made this event possible at an international level.
