High-Level Project Summary
We developed a website that utilizes a quiz to check if the person has everything a "Mega Marcos" needs to have, this being all the requirements that NASA asks to. With this quiz, we can bring information and knowledge to the schools and thus inspire and motivate the children and teenagers. At the same time, is possible to develop further more and turn this project into a Virtual Reality game/training for educational and professional purposes; for instance, intead of spending a lot of time, energy and money with expensive training, a company could put the candidate in one of our simulators with VR glasses or even a booth to mimic all the challenges he will have to go through in reality.

Detailed Project Description
Using our platform NASATAR, the user can create an avatar and experience what an Astronaut goes through on a daily basis, and also educate themselves about all the risks and sensations/feelings. During the 2nd part of the development phase, this platform can be adapt to a VR glasses software or even a booth so it can be even more realistic and bring more awareness to the user. We positively believe that this platfomrm can be developed to the use of almost every company with extreme scenerios/enviroments, or even to help the teaching process about the universe and thus inspire and motivate even more the younger generation.
MEGA MARCOS is our superhero, and he is there (on the website) to simbolize every aspect that needs to be fulfilled in order to try to be an astronaut.
We used all the data base that was provided by NASA on the RESOURCE tab of this challenge and some of Brazilian sources as well. To build the website we used WordPress and E Elementor, we had only one team mate with little experience in coding.
We hope this project can help many children to fall in love with the universe and a lot of companies to have an alternative to unncessary and expensive trainings.

The data base we used the most was: https://www.nasa.gov/hrp/5-hazards-of-human-spaceflight . Specially for the creation and building of our website and the quiz. This was very important because most of people think that being an astronaut is only glamour and fluctuate at space. Nobody thinks aboput the risks and everything they need to sacrifice or give up in order to help science move on. We decided that we need to star educating our society from the root: the children. That is why we want to bring (on the first part) this project to not only companies, but schools too.
Hackathon Journey
Our Journey was amazing, we all met yesterday (October 1st) and we are very excited to continue working on this project. The people here from Campo Mourão-PAraná were amazing in every aspect: organization, timing, feedbacks, mentorship, meals, etc. This is the second time Luiza participated and she said that during the pandemic was very hard to have all this socialization, but this year was so much better. We all will come back next year for sure!
