High-Level Project Summary

We developed a Website "Ophiuchus" to help people know more about space Biology and space medicine. We used links to connect people to useful websites. The website is like a linktree website. However, due to the time left ahead of us the project wasn't completed and we're going to provide a preliminary version of it. The main goal of the challenge is to inform users about the challenges of spaceflight. Consequently, our project gathers all possible sources about space biology and space medicine and that is exactly to inform people of the challenges and help them study more about biology in Space. It is important because it is easy to use &It shall gather a lot of helpful sources of study.

Detailed Project Description

The project (website) is supposed to gather a lot of official space agencies' websites, links, books, articles, courses, research opportunities, conferences, summits, and research papers. It works as a regular website would.

We didn't code, we used a third-party website to design ours, we also used a website to design our logo, we used 'Canva' to make a presentation about the website explaining it, and we used NASA resources and added the links to our website.

" Ophiuchus Space Blog" is named after the star constellation "Ophiuchus".

We tried to collect all the links and add them to our website. We hope that we get to continue this Project to make it the number one Space Database. However, due to the lack of time, we decided to publish this version of the project and carry on with it later. This version is supposed to demonstrate what the website will possibly look like in the future.

Space Agency Data

We used "NASA STI Repository", Pub space, The Canadian Space Agency, the challenges' main page, and watched the NASA videos that were uploaded by NASA.

We also used most of the links that were provided to add them to our website.

Hackathon Journey

We enjoyed ourselves it was a brilliant experience we hope to join Next Year in another challenge.

We learned a lot mostly patience.

What inspired us to take this step, even though we might not win, is that we want to provide a database that gathers everything possible about outer space and Space Agencies. When we first thought about this project, we thought of how we were space enthusiasts with no guidance and no help, we didn't think of winning, but either way, whether we win or not we will be so content to have come up with this idea that made us a team and gave us a purpose.

Approach: we tried to use different websites to design our website and logo.

To resolve setbacks we would walk around a little bit, rest a little, watch tutorials, keep trying and get back to work.
