High-Level Project Summary
Our team consists of four 9-year-old primary school students and two mentor teachers. First of all, after the difficulties were shared with us, when we examined it, we realized that our students who are interested in space the subject of “Build a space biology superhero” caught their attentions. It was determined that the most important problems faced by astronauts were radiation and its effects, non-gravity environment, and psychological problems.

Detailed Project Description
Our students doing research on this subject identified the following problems experienced by astronauts.
1. RADIATION: The biggest problem was the negative effects of radiation on their bodies. As a result of the brainstorming, it was emphasized that the DNA samples to be taken before being sent to space can help to improve health problems on return, and the importance of making astronauts' clothes from lead-containing fabrics can prevent the negative effects of radiation. Clothing design should have been designed in accordance with these conditions.
2. NON-GRAVITY ENVIRONMENT: Thanks to a mechanism to be established for possible muscle and bone losses, the idea that passive gymnastics can be provided with the electrical stimuli given to the muscles at rest was formed. During sleep, this mechanism would be activated and the effect of physical therapy would be created.
3. PSYCHOLOGICAL PROBLEMS: Our students have also suggested solutions for psychological problems that may occur while in space. In order to reduce the longing that will occur during long space travels, it was predicted that stress can be reduced through hologram interviews with family members. It was agreed that the sense of smell would be stimulated with the smell of rainy soil, the smell of the sea, the energy-boosting mint, lavender, vanilla, and coffee, which would create a feeling of happiness. It was thought that music broadcasting would be appropriate for a quality sleep. “Mozart” should have been preferred while choosing the music. It was planned to remove the negative effects that will occur with bio energy stones. For nutrition, it was stated that the local delicious food capsules could meet the needs of the sense of taste. In this way, deprivation symptoms in all sense organs would be minimized, and a state of mental well-being would be created.
