High-Level Project Summary
We developed a cardboard game with multiple characters, including our self-made biological superhero which will help kids and families to understand the risks astronauts undergo during missions and the challenges they have to overcome. It's important as it's will enable children to understand the basics of the process of a space mission while they are having a fun time.

Detailed Project Description
We created a new kind of organism that can survive in the space for a limited time. we used the Blender software creating a realistic space and the organism. It is also a hybrid of a starfish and tardigrade which makes it totally resistant to many extreme conditions of the space. Our project aims to create an enjoyable and easily understandable platform for children to discover the risks and challenges associated with space missions. It's easy to use and also easy to access.
Space Agency Data
We used Nasa's Human Research Road Map's 'Risk's section and also NASA's ' Space Faring The Radiation Challenge' guide to fully acknowledge the certain challenges, each challenge's severity and short&long term effects on humans. It inspired us to further worry about how scientists cope up or plan to cope up with all of those adverse effects on human health. While we were researching each of these one by one, we came to realise that a space mission, even to low earth orbit, is more challenging and requires meticulous planning. Therefore, we were inspired to create a simple and easily understandable platfrom along with our space-resistant superhero.
Hackathon Journey
Our space apps experience was full of excitement, curiosity, endless brainstorms and also hurry. We learnt many surprising facts, challanges and technologies developed to overcome these challanges of space travel. Our common interest in biology and curiosity towards how some organisms can live in extreme conditions inspired us to choose this challenge. We approached this project as an opputunity to learn more about space travel and also make it easier to learn for whom younger than us. Our biggest setback was time management but we managed to work long hours and finish our project as we had great motivation.
