High-Level Project Summary
We developed a platform that works with NFTs and space research data, building a link with knowledge and collectibles. These items will contain some data related to scientific events and research expressed in limited edition. This will give the NFT owner the opportunity to have some benefits in the future with access to exclusive platforms or events. The action aims to bring young people into the scientific field through unique digital art and bring the target audience to participate and develop a connection with the NFTs.

About SKIP
Screenshot 1:

Screenshot 2:

SKIP (Science Knowledge Intelligent Platform) is a platform for NFTs related to knowledge in the scientific research segment. These NFTs are collectible and you can get them through a digital art gallery on the SKIP Platform where each NFT is related to scientific research. You can also get them for free when you finish an event or lecture powered by NASA or a partner space agency scientific mission. Each NFT makes a part of a limited edition, we know the original due to the cryptography. Commemorative and Anniversary editions can be considered special editions. So this way, with more knowledge, and more badges you will win! It's a system based on the merit of the participant, where the owner of a specific NFT will have promotional benefits in the next events as recognition.
Screenshot 3:

Trough the platform, it is possible to find the NFTs that should always be updated after a new event or research, so that students and researchers from all over the world can collect them for free and gamify their interest in research. because when you collect, you can receive rewards such as access to platforms or exclusive events.
It focuses on engaging the younger audience to bring science closer to art through the new technology of collectibles, which around the world have become desired. Within the Sustainable Development Goals it can fit into Quality Education (4) and Partnership for the Goals (17).
Explanation of each NFT:

We used the following applications and software:
Adobe Illustrator & Adobe Photoshop for the illustrations
Figma for the prototype
Adobe Premiere Rush for video editing
Google Documents to aggregate information
Google Slides to expose and summarize the project
Discord to communicate with each other
Space Agency Data
Within the NASA Arts and Sciences segments (https://www.nasa.gov/connect/ebooks/earth_art_detail.html and https://science.nasa.gov/get-involved/art-and-science), we noticed a lack of collectible digital arts and event engagement, this was essential for us to think about our project. To make the prototype and the sketch of the NFTs, we used data from the Brazilian Space Agency , Brazilian Air Force and the NASA Database
NFT 1 As the documents show, our images are based on photos pictured by the James Webb Space Telescope with this provided data in NFT number 1 "Neptune Shows Off Its Rings in Near-Infrared Light"
NFT 2 is based on a scientist that found the black hole and published it.
NFT 3 is related to a NASA proposal of preparing for the Artemis Mission
NFT 4 Is related to a Brazilian research project with a partnership gathering University and Governmental Institutions
NFT 5 Is a commemorative one, due to the 50th Copernicus satellite anniversary, launched Complex 36B at what is now Cape Canaveral Space Force Station
NFT 6 It is inside an experiment by two of NASA’s Great Observatories, the James Webb Space Telescope and the Hubble Space Telescope
NFT 7 In a form to better visualize, this one was made by the team member in a Space Apps view. To a better experience for all member of Galaxy Fusion 1 Team
Hackathon Journey
Space Apps 2022 is the beginning of a great comeback, we can say. Even the hybrid event and (the specific election situation in Brazil), we could back see in person, and be in the same room with another team member. The brainstorming session in this way was different, ideas flowed and the perspective of the project is gathering with the good feeling of being back. Our inspiration came from the possibility of delivering NASA knowledge in the original pieces of digital art to be understood and appreciated. About Approach, this is related to a team member who has an NFT profile and has some knowledge about this area and another member who has design abilities, and the other one who has an understood how to build a layout. To solve not-good situations we always started off with the conversation principle and the maturity to have the ability to solve as a team. We are grateful to science, that's made all this possible, all staff and mentors members and all devs that build the communication channels and of course, the coffee that we drank.
