High-Level Project Summary
Spacecraft flies fast (as fast as 18,000 miles per hour) and must slow down so it can land safely on the surface, And it needs to land gently to keep the astronauts safe. The idea aims to slow the lander’s rate of descent as much as possible to simulate a soft landing on the lunar surface.

Detailed Project Description
Landing safely on the moon is a big step for an astronaut so we shall create a shock absorbing system, which can be robotic arms and claws provided with sensors in order to detect the surface and let the spacecraft land smoothly.
Space Agency Data
I read that NASA takes risks in order to land on the moon so I thought of a safe way on order to land on the moon and then came up with the idea (the smart claws).
Hackathon Journey
I enjoyed the experience of Nasa's space app challenge, I learned how to use steam (science, technology, engineering, art and math) in all my ideas. I enjoyed writing and painting my project.
