High-Level Project Summary
Our team has chosen the challenge of turning STEM into STEAM. We have created the project "Space Xplr"- an educational website using untraditional, helpful ways of learning. It contains well-made graphics, animations and an untraditional, innovative way of learning through playing a game. We wanted to create this project as its design is easily interpretative. First, the user watches a short STEAM-related video, and then they enter a story-based game that teaches and has different paths. We believe that it is important to us because we all have faced difficulties studying, thus with the use of our compassion and empathy, we decided to create "Space Xplr".

Detailed Project Description
"Space Xplr" is a website that is built with the use of languages HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We have used our compassion and empathy to create a multifunctional website that is also appealing. It contains a series of STEAM-related videos, such as NASA's space missions, technology, and so on. But the video courses aren't just regular; they are created with the use of easily understandable animations which result in helping us memorize information better. Additionally, after a video animation, the user can play a short story-based game. The user, while playing the game, is periodically given tips, tricks, and facts and is asked questions about what they have learned on the platform. And finally, they can view the STEAM artifacts in 3D, such as the Lunar Module or Solar system planets. This 3D viewport gives precise information about the model. We hope to become the most helpful platform and, in the future, further develop our platform to its full potential.
Space Agency Data
In our project, we used mainly NASA's provided data. For instance, we used a 3D model of the moon in our project that was from NASA's solar system exploration website. Additionally, we also used a few educational videos on YouTube in order to deepen our knowledge and also become inspired.
Hackathon Journey
We would personally say that these days at the Hackathon were amazing. Although we didn't know everyone here, we still had an authentic experience of diving into the cosmic atmosphere. Whilst being here, my team and I have learned to become more collaborative and to work as a team. We first designed and planned the project and then started creating it. Nevertheless, our team still faced the difficulty of creating the project. It took a lot of effort, and in some cases, we were confused. But we tried out best and, eventually, got back in control of everything. We also really enjoyed the atmosphere of the hackathon. We'd like to thank the organizers for providing us with a place to work.
