Learn About James Webb Space Telescope inside of the Metaverse

High-Level Project Summary

In this project we did a brainstorming of the challenge and generated ideas to be implemented for this project to be one of the most exciting and interesting NASA challenges. We as a cooperative group are ready to go through this challenge with high quality level of work. By representing The largest and the most powerful telescope ever built inside of the metaverse. Regarding our approach to develop this project. We may let the people who join this Metaverse World be able to move and use the telescope and interact with the telescope as we are looking forward to making it fun and enjoyable learning. As the people can easily discover the telescope by there own.

Detailed Project Description

As for the Metaverse World, we got permission to use the world from Scout Windsor. Furthermore, we will present our idea through this world to provide you with valuable information about the telescope.

Moreover, we are looking forward to making it a fun and enjoyable learning process by adding some interactive things that may let the people interact with the telescope. For example, by teleporting directly to the same part that they want to know more about and maximize the information regarding the part.

That'll help in visualizing the purpose of the James Webb Space Telescope. In addition, the parts and structure of it are developed as creative and enjoyable for the involved individuals in learning about the telescope. Although, its parts and functions.

In general, the project shows and teaches the people about the function of the telescope as well as the main parts of the telescope, such as:

  • The eye of the Observatory
  • Integrated Science Instrument Module
  • Sunshield
  • Spacecraft Bus

According to (Zaina Al Deesi): "The evolution of the metaverse is just getting started. Over the past two days, the Dubai Metaverse Assembly brought together over 600 experts to hear renowned speakers from over 40 organizations discuss ample opportunities within the metaverse space".

Space Agency Data

We used the data from NASA Goddard Space Flight Center to know more about the telescope, as we used them for presenting the telescope through the video that we made. and also some of the information regarding the telescope that is from NASA science spaceplace.

As we also used the open data from the NASA SCIENCE SHARE THE SCIENCE to find more about the first picture that the telescope took:

Hackathon Journey

  • As for the Hackathon Journey, our team consist of 5 members some are first timer and some are second time participants, so we kind of a beginner is such a Hackathon. Also, its a great opportunity to participate in this Hackathon.
  • We have learned more about the challenge and especially the one that we are dealing with. As we have learned about the James Webb space telescope in detailed. As we also learned alot about NASA and its space agency partners.
  • We are interested in games and game developing so we decide to choose this challenge as we can see ourselves into this challenge .
  • Regarding our approach to develop this project. We may let the people who join this Metaverse World be able to move and use the telescope and interact with the telescope as we are looking forward to making it fun and enjoyable learning.
