High-Level Project Summary

Our Task was to make the user LEARN ABOUT THE CAPABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE OF NASA’S JWST so, wehave made a game to help people learn about the capabilities and performance of NASA’s JWST. Therefore, in this game You have to login into the game, then you will be provided with a ARModel of the Webb Telescope. You can play around with the model and can get information about its different parts. Now you have to memorize the information of the parts we provided to you via the AR model and then have to attempt a Quiz game developed by us. Now when you will clear the first level of our Quiz Game you will be able to explore more with our AR Webb telescope. More in our PPT.

Detailed Project Description

Our Task was to make the user LEARN ABOUT THE CAPABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE OF NASA’S JWST

About JWST:

The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) is the largest, most powerful, and most complex space science telescope ever built. Webb will solve mysteries in our solar system, look beyond to distant worlds around other stars, and probe the mysterious structures and origins of our universe and our place in it. Launched on December 25, 2021, JWST began producing its first amazing science images in July 2022. These pictures are sharper and more sensitive than those from prior telescopes and will undoubtedly enable numerous new discoveries.

We have made a game to help people learn about the capabilities and performance of NASA’s JWST:

  1. You have to login into the game, then you will be provided with a ARModel of the Webb Telescope
  2. You can play around with the model and can get information about its different parts
  3. Now you have to memorize the information of the parts we provided to you via the AR model and then have to attempt a Quiz game developed by us.
  4. Now when you will clear the first level of our Quiz Game you will be able to explore more with our AR Webb telescope
  5. After clearing the 1st level you will be able to get and see the details of different planets using our AR Webb telescope.
  6. Now if you want to explore and learn more you can attempt the2nd level of our quiz after clearing which you will be able to compare different space telscopes with the Webb telescope model we created.

->Also we have gave the github repositry link on which our project is present along with the WORKING quiz app that asks questins about webb telescope we would be adding more to this project in the coming time.

Space Agency Data

We used 3d models from NASA website to add in our project also we used some documentation to frame questions about webb telescope from the same source.

We used the 3d models to add them in our Blender software and use it for modelling purpose only.

We used the documentation for framing the questions of the quiz app



We have worked on many projects recently that were based on Electric vehicles, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, etc but working by using the resources provided by NASA was a completely different experiance for us in the beggining we found it really hard to work on our project but with correct guidance from our seniors and mentors also from such wonderfully reliable resoursec we finally started getting ideas about the project and we started working over it.

Hackathon Journey

Hackathons provide a venue for self-expression and creativity through technology. People with technical backgrounds come together, form teams around a problem or idea, and collaboratively code a unique solution from scratch — these generally take shape in the form of websites, mobile apps, etc.

In our situation something similar happened we registered ourselves on the website then after a day or two started thinking for the project and which theme should we choose, after choosing the theme we started working over the project and it took a lot of hard work to get such a long way in this project we never thought we would be able to make this much but here we are submitting our project and hoping for the best!
