High-Level Project Summary
We developed a game where, first, you take control as an astronaut who must recover some samples around the world, and after that you are going to be able to use the James Webb Telescope to fond some data about it.In order to let people know about the telescope we used a way that you take control of it and search throw the space to learn some interesting things about itIt is important to learn about this telescope because it's really interesting what it can do and how we can use in the future in order to explore the universe

Detailed Project Description
How does it work? What benefits does it have?
the telescope takes pictures with infrared light and what makes this light go through the dust clouds and that makes the images come out better defined
What do you hope to achieve?
that people and mainly children learn about the james webb telescope about how it works and its components
What tools, coding languages, hardware, or software did you use to develop your project?
we use unity for programming and pixel studio to design all the sprites and backgrounds all by hand on our computers and we use aseprite to make some of the sprites.
Space Agency Data
We take some information about the telescope and its discoveries on this website: we also take some images to make some sprites based on them:

Hackathon Journey
the experience we have in space apps is good since we learned several things from the challenge and since it is the way of working of each participant of the team and it serves as experience for future projects, we would have had a better face-to-face experience in queretaro but for various reasons we did not we were able to go in person to space apps
We had many inspirations to make our game. Some of them are: "star walk" an application for astronomy lovers where you can check all kinds of information of the observable stars from your point of view in real time.
What did you learn?
with this work we have learned a lot about how a telescope works and all the components that give life to the james webb
We wanted to make a game where you could be able to learn about the capacities of the James Webb Telescope while having fun.
We wanted to make a game where you could be able to learn about the capacities of the James Webb Telescope while having fun.
at first we had setbacks to start and what kind of game to create but through creative research methods and manifestation of ideas we were able to create the video game
We would like to thank our teachers, university classmates, for having us invited to space apps and living the experience of being able to make a game for NASA focused on the James Webb telescope
