High-Level Project Summary
We were delighted when finding out that we had the opportunity to inspire others to learn more about the glory of space using one of the newest telescopes of our time. We developed an RPG with puzzle minigames included. Deciding that in order to educate others we should attempt to teach the newer generations on the importance of space by creating a interactive videogame following the eyes of a small child learning more about the goals and successes of the James Webb Telescope. As Marie Curie once said "Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. . ." With the telescope, we can understand space and with our game, anyone can learn about the telescope.

Detailed Project Description
We a group of High Schoolers programed a game with the capacity to visualize a story in the form of a wholesome, light-hearted way. The game tells a story of a little girl named Alice-sun (excuse the pun!) who travels with her class to the local museum. After a series of venturing through different hallways she stumbles upon Jamey Webb, the living embodiment of the James Webb Space Telescope. Who teaches Alice-sun about the mission and achievements of the telescope. It provides scientific knowledge in the most consumable method by making facts both easier and funnier. Further strengthening learning in the most delightful and interactive way possible. We hope to achieve the possibility of inspiring others so that everyone has the capacity of educating others for generations to come.
Space Agency Data
We used data and facts from NASA as well as the Canadian Space Agency and European Space Agency to help format, create, and write our story and art.
We used images from the Webb Space Telescope to help us create our minigames and aid us in creating our art for the game.
Hackathon Journey
At first we nervous & excited about this event but as we dived more into it, we were making jokes, tossing ideas, and making a game we knew we would be proud of. We learned A LOT about the telescope and it's history as well as current space events such as the DART. The images of stars and planets and drove us to work harder. We were inspired to pick this project due to the fact it applied to our interests such as game making, story telling, drawing, and learning in the most creative way possible. Our approach to develop this game was first by having two people plot out the story we wished to tell (after we all decided on a common theme) and research the facts and images we needed while the other two members of our group worked on drawing and coding. Our team resolved to setbacks and challenges by looking up solutions on the internet, trial and error, asking each other for feedback and help as well as asking our peers from school to peer review our work. We would love to thank Construct 3 and Procreate and each other in this group (and maybe Discord).
