Space Guy

High-Level Project Summary

We developed an Educational game that helps to identify the diferent telescopes like James webb, Hubble, Spitzer and Chandra, we think about how can we show how the telescopes works and we create a game to solve those problems, its important because you could learn about the images of the universes and about the telescopes in it.

Detailed Project Description

Game based in html, css, boostrap and Javascript, the game its about the 4 different telescopes James webb, Hubble, Spitzer and chandra, with a basic design created for kids with interactive forms and a little test that helps them to keep what they learn.

The game shows an interface as a presentation, then you have to click on the arrow that its positioned in the right corner after that, you can choose a language it could be English or Spanish, then it charges to show the room of the Space Guy, it gives you an introduction of the game, then shows you what is in the computer, there you could see 4 different telescopes and, you can click on each one to see a gallery of images taken with the telescope, after you watch all the images, click in the right corner and then start, then you will see a interface of a memory test, when you finish you can select "Play again" "Back to the menu" if you go back to the menu you will see the interface of the test on the corner there is a door, when you click on it and it takes you to the principal room, there you can find the books and click on it to see a little recopilation of information of each telescope showed in the game

Space Agency Data

We use the information from the NASA repositories, we used the official websites of the telescopes to collect different images of how the universe looks from each one, we got the information from the pages in the resources of space app. Most of the information was used with educational terms this was an Education Game for every kid and people with disabilities to show them how the telescopes work.

Hackathon Journey

The experience was successful and complicated we asked each other what we could do? and we finally start creating a little game of the telescopes, we started with the designs of how we wanted the project, we learned how to purpose ideas to others and about the telescopes, how to solve a problem, it was very good for all the team.
