Track the Space Stations in 3D

High-Level Project Summary

This project is about tracking the ISS (international space station) , with a 3D model and we will mainly focus on the history of the International Space Station. Moreover, the main most important point is the weight this data holds. Our main objective is to make an application that is accessible for all, regardless of their age, education and talents. It is a core belief of ours that these kind of information should be available for the general public. We, Tony Samer and Nay Badaoui have worked rigorously on this project, however due to the lack of a coder, time and resources we weren't able to finish this project and give it the attention and details it fundamentally and necessarily need.

Detailed Project Description

We hope to achieve equality of knowledge for all, hence why we tried to make the information and software as easily readable and understandable as possible.

We used an API to get the ressources and locations to the satellite, we did so using a the python code to transform it into a 3D model that shows the satellite into real time, in function of this ressources.

Upcoming Activity: develop the website, on the way, wasn't achievable due to the lack of time.

Space Agency Data

The data provided and referenced below was to give the API the necessary resources to function( Satelite locating purposes)

Hackathon Journey

It was a meaningful experience as we were constantly surrounded by driven, ambitious, smart and kind people. We learned a lot from everyone around us. However, our main difficulty was the lack of talent that halted us from achieving our higher purpose. We will take everything we learned from this hackathon as a pushing force to keep on improving and growing.
