Center Of Astronomical Research Presents: Stelar Variability, A Closer Look

High-Level Project Summary

I developed a website to discuss the factors that influence stellar variability. I also provided image sampeling showing how data visualization can show the internal structure of stars and how this process differs from studying light curves. Stellar Quantitive Data visualization allows for in depth study of the internal structure of stars and what is around them. This Data Visualization technique will also help us peer into the past to understand our own solar systems beginning.

Detailed Project Description

This project was defeninately a challage i learned a lot about stellar varibles, i am submitting a website discussing the different factors that influence brightness of stars

Space Agency Data

I was inspired by NASA photos and Canadian Space Agency data sets to create my own bar graph

Hackathon Journey

I choose this Challange because I love to study stars and didn't quite understand stellar variables at first. I'm coming away from this challenge understanding the difference between intrinsic and extrinsic variables and am able to identify some that have been trending recently. This was my first space apps experience and i will look forward to trying again next year.
